Work Background -

I have been working at the University of Salford's VETS3D (http://www.youtube.com/vets3d) since January 2001. My current position is VR Consultant and involves 3D Content creation for real-time 3d graphics. These include large scale city models for both architectural and town planning purposes, virtual prototyping and educational products. Services offered by VETS3D include -

Real-time interactive 3d environments - Architectural Visualisation - Educational Virtual Environments - Product Visualisation - CG Videos and stills. 

Main software used -

3ds Max, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier, After Effects, Quest3D, Lumion

Display Systems used -

Desktop systems, Reality Centre, CAVE/REACTOR, Workbench  

Other Hardware used -

Z Corp and Dimension 3d printers, 3d Scanners 


PhD Information – 

I am currently studying for my PhD.  The aim of this PhD is to investigate the effects of methods of immersion within Virtual Environments populated with virtual animals on the learning of how animals interact.
